Joan Jett & Friends

Not only is she one of Rock's late 70's Queen's of scream and a punk rock icon, she sure has a way w/ people IMO

We just watched this depressing flick, she can act as well! Here she is live with the songwriter of the MOVIE'S title song, the BOSS!

With my all time favorite indie songwriter, Paul Westerberg, singing a standard from the, what? 1940's??? Sure doesn't sound like it here.

Joan helping indie sexpot Peaches, that's one of the coolest things about her in my personal OP, she's sold 10's of millions of records yet has never placed herself on a high horse and does not forget exactly what its like for upandcomers. This is a fantastic tune IMO!

Wow, this isn't a tune -YET- here she is in 1977, with ex mgr of the Runaways, Kim Fowley, Paul Weller of the Jam, Bill Graham and some other dude who makes sense to the convo, on one of my favorite shows from the late 70s, Tom Snyder's "Tomorrow Show. I remember sneaking out of bed as an 8 year old when my folks were asleep to see this show just to watch the music, the talk didn't interest me at all. I 1st saw the Clash LIVE on this show and was blown away. Great times.

With the Runaways on their 1st hit "Cherry Bomb" which put them on the map before they burnt to the ground, great historical footage from Japan from the era where they were as big as the Beatles for a few years.
